Agartala, 29th April 2025:  Papai Kunda, a resident of the Rajarbagh area has won hearts with his act of honesty and humanity. While shopping at the local vegetable market this morning, he stumbled upon a cheque lying on the road.

Upon closer inspection, Papai found it to be an Indian Overseas Bank check valued at Rs 1 lakh and signed by a person named Suman Kanti Debnath. Displaying remarkable integrity, Papai waited near the spot for an extended period, hoping the rightful owner would return in search of the cheque.

When no one came forward, Papai decided to take the responsible course of action. He visited the Radha Kishorepur police station in Udaipur and handed over the Cheque to the authorities, ensuring its safe return to its owner.

The incident serves as a powerful reminder of honesty and civic responsibility in everyday life.
