Agartala, 19th January 2025: In a shocking incident, the body of an unidentified man was recovered from a drain near Ashram Chowmuhani Naka Point on Sunday morning.
Tripura Police personnel reported that they received information about the presence of a body in the area and promptly rushed to the spot. Upon recovery, the man, estimated to be around 60 years old, was declared dead.
“The deceased has not been identified yet. We have sent the body to the morgue for a post-mortem examination,” said a police official.
The authorities are conducting investigations to ascertain the man’s identity and the circumstances leading to his death. Residents in the vicinity are urged to come forward with any information that could assist the investigation.
