Agartala, 7th December 2025: The Tourism Department of Tripura is set to host the grand finale of the “Unity Promo Fest” on December 12 at Swami Vivekananda Ground (Astabal Maidan) in the state capital, Agartala.
Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury announced that the festival, organized annually by the state tourism department, has already been successfully conducted across five major tourist destinations of the state in five separate phases, each spanning two days.
To ensure smooth execution of the concluding event, the Minister along with senior officials of the Tourism Department and related agencies visited the venue today. They inspected all ongoing arrangements and reviewed the preparedness in detail. Special emphasis was placed on security measures and public convenience, with clear instructions issued to take all necessary steps to manage the large footfall expected for the event.
He said that the highlight of the closing ceremony will be a live performance by renowned Indian playback singer Jubin Nautiyal anticipated to draw significant public interest.
Expressing confidence in the success of the festival, Minister Chowdhury sought the cooperation and enthusiastic participation of the people of Tripura to make the concluding ceremony of Unity Promo Fest a memorable and vibrant celebration.
