Waqf Amendment Bill approved: A step towards justice for deprived Muslims, says MP Rajib Bhattacharjee

Agartala, 4th April 2025:   The Waqf Amendment Bill has been hailed as a landmark move to end years of alleged injustice and corruption, according to BJP state president and MP Rajib Bhattacharjee.

He expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP All India President JP Nadda for their efforts in introducing the bill.

After extensive discussions in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, the bill received approval, marking what Bhattacharya described as a turning point for the poor and deprived members of the Muslim community. He emphasized that the legislation aims to bring justice to those who have long been marginalized.

“The Prime Minister is tirelessly working towards building a developed India and uplifting the poor,” Bhattacharjee stated highlighting the significance of the bill in addressing systemic issues within the Waqf framework. He expressed optimism that the move would benefit countless individuals within the Muslim community.
