Week-long Heritage Fest to begin from November 23

Agartala, 21st November 2023:  In a much-anticipated announcement, the Yuba Vikas Kendra revealed the second edition of ‘Heritage Fest’ is set to captivate Tripura from November 23 to November 29 at the Swami Vivekananda Maidan in the capital city, Agartala.

This cultural extravaganza aims to foster national integration and cultural exchange, with 450 enthusiastic youths from 25 states across India slated to participate.

The inauguration ceremony, scheduled for November 23 at 6 pm, will be graced by Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha. Distinguished guests, including Minister Tinku Roy,  Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder, State Government Cultural Advisory Committee Vice Chairman Subrata Chakraborty, and Vishwa Yuva Kendra Officer Uday Shankar Singh, are expected to attend the event.

Debashish Majumder, president of Yuva Bikash Kendra, emphasized the festival’s primary objective is to inspire youth towards national unity and facilitate cultural exchange between Tripura and diverse cultures from India and around the world. Majumder expressed optimism that such events would not only promote the rich traditions and culture of Tripura but also boost tourism, showcasing the state’s allure both nationally and internationally.

Samshara, in collaboration with Yuva Bikash Kendra, extended a warm invitation to the people of Tripura, urging them to actively participate in this enriching event from November 23 to November 29, 2023. The festival promises a week of vibrant performances, cultural showcases, and a unique platform for fostering understanding and appreciation of India’s diverse heritage.
