Agartala, 8th March 2025 : A woman lost her life in a tragic electrocution incident at her home in Baligaon village under Kamalpur police station on Thursday. The incident has plunged the local community into grief.
According to reports, Champa Sutradhar fell unconscious while attempting to connect the power cable of a fan in her house. Family members rushed her to Bimal Singh Memorial Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared her dead.
Her grieving spouse confirmed that the fatal accident occurred while she was handling the electrical connection. The sudden loss has left the village in shock, as residents mourn the untimely passing of Sutradhar.
Authorities are urging caution when handling electrical appliances and connections, emphasizing the importance of safety measures to prevent similar accidents.
