Agartala, 4th August 2025: To strengthen the spirit of patriotism and honour India’s freedom fighters, the NSS Unit of Women’s College has rolled out a series of programs under the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. The initiative, which began on August 4 and will continue through August 15, is aimed at fostering national pride and civic responsibility.
On the opening day, student volunteers created artistic representations of the Indian national flag. Alongside their creativity, they promoted the message that every citizen holds moral duties and responsibilities toward the nation beyond simply respecting the flag. The event was attended by college faculty, including the principal and several professors, whose presence added enthusiasm to the proceedings.
The overall program is being coordinated by NSS Program Officer Rama Bhattacharjee, whose leadership helped ensure smooth execution and meaningful engagement among students. Volunteer turnout was notably high, reflecting the growing interest in community-driven patriotic expression.
