Worker found dead at Natunbazar regulatory market shed

Agartala, 21st May 2025:    The body of a worker, identified as Jamir Hossain, was recovered from the shed of Notun Bazar Regulatory Market at around 7 a.m. on Wednesday. 

Hossain, a resident of Nildhan Para in Uttar Ekchhari, was known to sleep in the market shed frequently, often under the influence of alcohol, according to his family members. Locals discovered him lying motionless in the morning and alerted his family. 

Upon receiving the information, Natunbazar Police Station staff rushed to the scene, and a forensic team was informed for further investigation. 

Authorities are looking into the circumstances surrounding his death.
