Agartala, 25th February 2025:   Workers from Bihar employed at the Putia Rahimpur SHBI brick kiln marched straight to the Bishalgarh Subdivision Court seeking justice. The workers alleged that the kiln owners Selim Mia and Monir Hossain along with certain police officers from Kalamchoura police station had assaulted them for demanding their wages.

Failing to secure a fair trial at the police station, the workers took their plea directly to the magistrate, creating a tense atmosphere in the court premises. Police and TSR jawans were quickly dispatched to the scene to maintain order.
