Agartala, 13th July 2024: A one-day workshop titled “Reforms and Recent Changes in Criminal Justice System in India” was held on Saturday, organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Adhibhak Parishad at the Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel here.
The event was attended by Akhil Bharatiya Adhibhak Parishad National Secretary Dwipendra Kuswash, High Court Justice Arindam Lodh and Police Accountability Commission Chairman SC Das.
During the seminar, High Court Justice Arindam Lodh emphasized the significance of legal reforms, stating, “After 75 years of independence, three laws have been reformed and formulated in a new way.”
He pointed out the importance of the Civil Protection Act, which aims to safeguard citizens’ rights. Justice Lodh also discussed three new laws that have been introduced as part of these reforms.
