Agartala, November 01, 2022: The ‘Kabi Kabi Pratibha’ was felicitated by Vedic Gurukul Ashram of prominent poets of Mangaldeep Sahitya Patrika and Kabi Sammelan with great enthusiasm at ‘Mahadev Taposthali Vedic Gurukul & Ashram’ located at Shanicherra in North Tripura district on October 30 last.
Vedic Gurukul Principal Acharya Nandita Ji delivered the welcome address on the occasion. Those honored on this occasion were Mangaldeep secretary Madhumangal Sinha, President Gautam G Singh, Sanchaita Roy, BK Sinha, Purabi Singh and Prakashana Mancha secretary and Mangaldeep Advisor Govinda Dhar.
Prominent philanthropist of the area Pradip Nath inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. Vedic Gurukul President Nirmal Singh presided. Music, dance, poetry recitation, story reading, one-on-one dramas and yoga demonstrations were held in the fun event.
Gurukul secretary Rana Singh expressed his opinion that this kind of program will increase values in the society and increase unity and harmony among different ethnic groups.Other poets present at the Kabi Sanmelan are Nibaran Nath, secretary of Nilakantha, Amalendu Chowdhury, Niranjan Das, poet and dramatist Nakul Nath, Amit Singh and many other talented people. Vedic mantras are recited to mark the end of the ceremony. All in all, this program has added a new dimension to art and literature.
