Youth Arrested in Financial Fraud Case Linked to Fake Job Offer Scam in Agartala

Agartala, 20th June 2026:    The police of NCC Police Station have arrested a young man named Pritam Das in connection with a financial fraud case involving alleged job scams.

According to the Officer-in-Charge of NCC Police Station, a complaint was filed by Tanushree Roy, Assistant Manager of Insciscsky Softtech Private Limited. In the complaint, it was alleged that money was being collected from job seekers under the false promise of employment through a fake Facebook account created in the company’s name.

Following the complaint, police launched an investigation and identified the accused. Acting on the findings, police arrested Pritam Das on Friday night from his residence in the Barnickya Choumuhani area.

The accused was produced before the court on Saturday, where police sought his remand for further interrogation. Investigation into the case is ongoing.
