Zara Foundation holds Bharat-Bangla Baisakhi Friendship Procession

Agartala, April 27:  The Bharat-Bangla Baisakhi Friendship Procession was held on Thursday morning under the initiative of Zara Foundation in the spirit of folk culture.

The procession starts in front of Rabindra Bhavan and circumambulates the various routes of the city.  Mayor Deepak Majumder was present. He said that the main purpose of this procession is to highlight the culture of India and Bangladesh.

Apart from this promoting the tourist center. Through this kind of program, the friendship between the two countries will be stronger. In other words, the Mayor expressed hope that the program will be successful.
