Agartala, 10th September 2026 : Assam Rifles distributed water tanks to New Kaiphundai, T. Motbung and Oinamlong villages under Tamenglong District, helping alleviate the long-standing water crisis in the area. This initiative is part of Operation Sadbhavana, aimed at supporting local communities and improving their quality of life.
These water tanks will enable villagers store water and mitigate scarcity issues.
The event was attended by villagers, rejoicing the simple yet impactful gesture by Assam Rifles, showcasing the commitment of Assam Rifles to community development.
