The much-awaited Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 12, senior officials in Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) confirmed here on Wednesday.
Officials also said that they are not sure of the date as they were asked by the government and the Prime Minister’s Office to be in the ‘ready mode’ since Modi was going to be busy with the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple at Ayodhya.
Now we have been given the green signal and it is confirmed that MTHL will be inaugurated on January 12, they said.
It may be recalled that few days back, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, too, had hinted the inauguration of MTHL on January 12.
