Security forces shot down one drone loaded with cash and ammunition near the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources on Thursday said that in the in the intervening night of Wednesday-Thursday, a suspicious movement of aerial object was reported on LoC in Beri Pattan area of Rajouri.
“Acting swiftly, security forces launched a massive Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) and tracked movement of a drone,” they said.
Sources further added that the movement of drone was tracked successfully and was brought down.
“Five loaded AK magazines, cash and a sealed packet has been recovered from the object,” they said adding that intense search operation is in progress.
On Apr 9, Indian Army shot dead one intruder and captured two others alive and successfully foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Poonch Sector. 17-kg heroin, cash and other items were recovered from the intruders.
