Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Narayan Rane visited the exhibition halls at the G-20 meeting venue here on Monday.
He inquired about the subjects displayed in various halls.
On the occasion of ‘World Year of Coarse Grains – 2023’, the government is making efforts to increase the importance of coarse grains such as millet, sorghum, ragi, which have more nutritious elements. Accordingly, information on the importance of coarse grains has also been displayed at the G-20 meeting venue.
Rane took special information about coarse grains and processed products made from them.
He also saw a presentation on tourism activities, tour packages planned by the Maharashtra Tourism Development Board to promote tourism in the state.
On this occasion, Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Collector Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh and others were present.
