People from various corners of the state gathered to present their issues before the Chief Minister, ranging from serious medical emergencies to requests for support in youth development. Listening to each case attentively, the Chief Minister immediately directed officials from the concerned departments to take swift action.

Among the petitioners were Ajit Deb of Paschim Bhubanban seeking help for his wife’s heart condition, Shiuli Bhattacharya of Ujan Abhaynagar whose husband is suffering from a heart blockage, and Khokan Biswas of Dukli seeking help for his wife’s kidney ailment. Others included Sudhir Debnath of Unkoti, concerned about his wife’s eye problem, and Narayan Chandra Ghosh of Bhati Abhaynagar, who sought assistance for his wife’s heart and kidney complications.

In addition, Rajiv Debbarma of Kadamtala, Agartala, approached the Chief Minister requesting support to help his son pursue a career in sports. Acting promptly, CM Saha instructed Dr. P.K. Chakraborty, Secretary of the Youth Affairs and Sports Department, to look into the matter.

The Chief Minister also issued on-the-spot directives to Health Department Secretary Kiran Gitte, Director Dr. Tapan Kumar Majumdar, Social Welfare and Social Education Department Secretary Tapas Roy, IGM Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Debadri Debbarma, and Cancer Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Shiromani Debbarma to take necessary measures on several cases raised.

In several instances, immediate actions were taken, while CM Saha assured that unresolved matters would be reviewed and addressed in due course.

The ‘Mukhyamantri Samipeshu’ initiative continues to serve as a crucial platform in bringing governance closer to the people, ensuring their voices are heard and acted upon.
