Agartala, 19th July 2025:  Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has responded to two separate letters from Member of Parliament Biplab Kumar Deb, acknowledging infrastructure development requests in the state of Tripura.

In his official correspondence dated July 15, 2025, Gadkari confirmed the receipt of Deb’s letter (No. BKD/MP/2025/340) dated July 1, 2025, seeking the construction of a drainage system on both sides of NH-8 in the Santirbazar Market area. The Union Minister assured that the matter is being looked into for necessary action.

In another letter (No. BKD/MP/2025/334) dated June 30, 2025, Deb had sought the development of the road from Churaibari to Agartala in Tripura. Gadkari, in his response, also confirmed that this proposal is under consideration and being examined for further steps.
