Lakshichhara, Kanchanmala: Academic excellence celebrated at Ramakrishna HS School

Agartala, 22nd July 2025:  A felicitation ceremony honoring academic achievers was held this afternoon at Ramakrishna Higher Secondary School, Lakshichhara, Kanchanmala located in the Golaghati Assembly constituency.

The event witnessed the presence of Golaghati MLA Manab Debbarma, Dukli Panchayat Samiti Vice Chairman Kishore Ghosh, Kanchanmala Gram Panchayat Pradhan Rajesh Das, Upa-Pradhan Archut Roy, SMC Chairman Bikash Bhowmik, Principal Kandarp Debbarma, Assistant Principal Bhavani Mog, along with faculty members and students.

The ceremony commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ritual led by MLA Manab Debbarma, followed by an inaugural song presented by the school’s students and a vibrant tribal group dance performance by the girl students.

A special highlight of the event was the recognition of Tania Khatun, daughter of Khushid Mia from a financially disadvantaged family in the Kanchanmala area. Tania secured seventh position in the state in this year’s Higher Secondary examinations and was given special honors during the celebration.

In total, ten meritorious students from both the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary levels including Tania were felicitated for their academic accomplishments.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Debbarma and other dignitaries emphasized the transformative power of education, urging students to remain focused on their studies. “Education has the potential to lead students out of darkness and into the light,” one speaker remarked, extending best wishes and continued success to all the honored students.
