Agartala, 9th August 2025: Contestants from Tripura delivered a remarkable performance at the eighth edition of the inter-state mega beauty pageant “Mr., Miss, Mrs. North East King & Queen – Baishakhi,” held recently in Silchar. Organized by RK Entertainment, the event saw an impressive turnout from Tripura, with 12 participants competing across various categories.
In Category A (up to 7 years), Arshia Laskar, a Class 1 student from Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC, secured the second runner-up title, while Priyashi Sutradhar, a KG-I student from Derozio Mission School in Khowai, was named third runner-up.
In Category B, Adriza Das, a Class 6 student from Auxilium Girls School, clinched the first prize, followed by Debnayan Dutta of Bhavan’s Tripura Mandir, also in Class 6, who was declared first runner-up.
In the Mister category, Deeptanu Das from Agartala emerged victorious. Chandrani Rudrapal, also from Agartala, won the Miss category. Joysmita Majumdar, a Class 8 student from Kendriya Vidyalaya Kunjaban, earned the Print Winner title, while Babli Dey, a Class 11 student from Bishalgarh English Medium School, won the Runway title. Reshmi Ghosh, a Class 10 student from Anand Vidyaniketan Higher Secondary School, was crowned Brand Ambassador. Tanisha Chakraborty from Women’s College, Agartala, secured the fourth runner-up position.
In the Mrs. category, makeup artist and designer Soma Sarkar Das won the Winner Award, and Papiya Sutradhar from Khowai received the Runway Award.
RK Entertainment’s Tripura State Director, Debashree Das Debbarma, expressed pride in the contestants’ achievements and extended her best wishes for their future success at national and international platforms. In recognition of Tripura’s outstanding performance, Debbarma was also felicitated during the event.
This year’s Baishakhi pageant not only showcased talent but also highlighted Tripura’s growing presence in the regional beauty and fashion circuit.
