Four Students Killed in Tragic Road Accident on Delhi-Lucknow Highway, Including Tripura Medical Intern

Agartala, 4th December 2025:   A devastating road accident on the Delhi–Lucknow National Highway in Uttar Pradesh’s Amroha district claimed the lives of four students, including a medical intern from Tripura, in the late evening of Wednesday.

According to reports, the collision occurred when the car carrying the students had a head-on crash with a truck late at night. All four occupants of the vehicle died on the spot.

Among the deceased was Saptarshi Das, a resident of Ramnagar No. 1 Road in Agartala, Tripura. Saptarshi, the son of Sushanta Shekhar Das, had recently completed his MBBS and was undergoing internship at the time of the accident. He was an alumnus of Rabindra Shankar Vidyamandir.

Family sources confirmed that upon receiving the tragic news, relatives departed for Delhi on Thursday afternoon to bring back Saptarshi’s mortal remains. The incident has cast a pall of grief over the Ramnagar locality, where residents mourn the untimely loss of a promising young life.
