Agartala, 11th January 2026: At the beginning of the new year 2026, a grand beauty pageant titled “India Global Star 2025–26” was successfully organized by RK Entertainment House at the historic Sovabazar Rajbari in Kolkata. The event, directed by Pradyot Acharya, celebrated talent, confidence, and diversity. The grand finale of the competition was held on January 4.
Talented participants from Assam (Guwahati and Silchar), Kolkata, and Tripura took part in the final round. Among the 25 contestants, participants from Tripura proudly won five prestigious titles.
The title winners from Tripura are as follows:
Sagnik Deb, a professional yoga trainer, won the Mister India Global Star Tourism Award.
Rishiraj Das, an ex student of Shrikrishna Mission School, won the Mister India Global Star North East Award.
Kumari Srishti Sutradhar, a second-semester student of Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences, won the Miss India Global Star Tourism title.
Kumari Sagarika Deb, a third-semester Geography (Honours) student of Agartala Women’s College, won the Miss India Global Star Print Award.
Kumari Tanisha Chakraborty, also a third-semester student of Agartala Women’s College, won the Miss India Global Star Plus Award.
The participants from Tripura received essential guidance and wholehearted support from Jayanta Sarkar, a professional model from Tripura and winner of the Mister Earth India International Award 2022, along with experts from Assam and Kolkata.
Among the jury members, Sangita Saha Debnath, winner of the Mrs. East India Pride Award 2025, was honored with the Global Star Best Model 2025–26 title. In addition, Debashree Das Debbarma, Tripura State Director of RK Entertainment House, a renowned dancer and choreographer, an employee of the Postal Department, and winner of Mrs. World India International 2022, was awarded the Global Star Best Dancer 2025–26.
Distinguished guests at the event included Tollywood actress Madhurima Chakraborty and many eminent personalities from the fashion and entertainment industry. They congratulated the winners and expressed hope that the participants would continue their winning streak in the future and establish themselves successfully in their respective fields of talent.
