Agartala, 20th February 2026: A 29-year-old man identified as Akash Majumder lost his life following a tragic bike accident near Nehru Park in Agartala late last night. Majumder was a resident of the Gandhigram area.
According to police and hospital sources, Majumder sustained severe injuries in the crash and was rushed to GB Hospital around midnight. Doctors reported multiple critical injuries and described his condition as extremely serious upon admission.
Despite intensive medical efforts, Majumder succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning while undergoing treatment. His untimely death has cast a pall of grief over his family and the local community.Authorities are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
