Agartala, 7th May 2026: The oath-taking ceremony of newly elected member of the 13th Tripura Legislative Assembly, Jahar Chakraborty, will be held at 12 noon on May 13 in the lobby of the Tripura Legislative Assembly.
The Secretary of the Tripura Legislative Assembly has requested the newly elected member, Jahar Chakraborty, to attend the oath-taking ceremony along with the election certificate issued by the Returning Officer.
The information was shared through a press release issued by the Tripura Legislative Assembly Secretariat.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Jahar Chakraborty has won the Dharmanagar by-election by securing 24,291 votes.
The by-election to the Dharmanagar Assembly Constituency in North Tripura district was held on April 9 after BJP MLA and Tripura Legislative Assembly Speaker Biswabandhu Sen passed away.
