Pratima Bhoumik visits GBP Hospital, inquires Asmita’s health condition

Agartala, July 25, 2022: Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Pratima Bhoumik visits Trauma Care Centre at GBP Hospital here to inquire about the health condition of 7-year old girl Asmita Datta on Monday.

Few days back, she met with an accident on her way home with her mother after school adjourned. A heavily-loaded e-rickshaw in front of Shishu Bihar School here on the morning of Friday last.

“Receiving the news of this mishap when I was in Delhi, talked with the doctors of the hospital and asked about Asmita’s health. After returning to the state, I visited GBP Hospital today and arranged all the required facilities after talking to her family members and doctors. I pray to God for Asmita’s speedy recovery”, she added.

Earlier, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath paid a visit to GBP hospital Agartala. A team of Tripura Commission for Protection of Child Rights also visited the child under observation in GBP hospital.
