North SP reviews infrastructure at Bagbasa police station

Agartala, 25th June 2026:    As part of ongoing infrastructure inspections across North Tripura, Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhinash Rai, accompanied by Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kamal Debbarma, conducted a detailed review of the Bagbasa Police Station following a prior inspection at Anandabazar Police Station.

During the visit, the SP meticulously examined key operational areas including record books and registers, the malkhana (evidence/property room), court section, male and female lock-ups, CCTV surveillance system, CCTNS facilities, and personnel barracks. The inspection also covered the inventory of arms and ammunition, alongside the station’s general maintenance and management practices.

Subsequently, SP Rai convened a special interactive meeting with officers and staff of the station. The discussion emphasized operational preparedness, discipline, and the quality of public service delivery. Strict instructions were issued to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and efficiency in policing, ensuring effective law enforcement and improved public trust.

This inspection is part of the administration’s broader initiative to strengthen police infrastructure and enhance service quality across the district.
