Agartala, 11th August 2026: As part of the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga–2026’ campaign ahead of the 80th Independence Day, a special ‘Tiranga Concert and Vande Mataram Exhibition’ was organised at Rajarshi Auditorium in Udaipur on Tuesday.
The programme was jointly organised by the Gomati District Administration, Gomati Zilla Parishad, Udaipur Municipal Council and the District Information and Cultural Affairs Department. Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Gomati Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Debal Debroy, MLA Jitendra Majumder, Udaipur Municipal Council Chairman Shital Chandra Majumder and Gomati Additional District Magistrate Subhash Acharya were among those present.
The exhibition highlighted the history and evolution of the Tricolour and the patriotic spirit associated with ‘Vande Mataram’. Modern weapons, equipment and military gear used by BSF personnel were also displayed, drawing considerable interest from visitors.
Cultural performances and the Tiranga Concert created a patriotic atmosphere, while special emphasis was placed on inspiring the younger generation to understand the significance of Independence, national unity and their responsibilities towards the country.
Addressing the gathering, Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy said the Tricolour represents the sacrifices, unity and national pride associated with India’s freedom struggle. He urged people to participate actively in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga–2026’ campaign and move forward together on the path of national development, while remembering the sacrifices of freedom fighters and soldiers guarding the nation’s borders.
