Agartala: March 16. TIPRA Motha chairman Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma today said that the 13 MLAs of his party would take on the state government on different issues inside and outside the Tripura Assembly.
In a cryptic social media post, Pradyot on his facebook wrote, “Today I will be meeting all my MLAS in Agartala! You will see a breed of new leaders who will take on the GOVT on issues inside and outside the Assembly . Will ask the MLAs to speak about issues which many of our people were previously hesitant of raising in the Assembly. Yeh 13 Bhari padega sabko”.
In the recently held election, Pradyot’s party has fielded 42 candidates out of 60 seats and among these 13 candidates won.
Three hours after Pradyot said he would meet the 13 Motha legislators, he again wrote, “Don’t give up don’t compromise ! We are here because of our people. We are motivated because this time the poor tiprasa voter in the village has shown the entire northeast how to fight for your rights #Tipra”.
