Agartala: May 24. Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder today urged everyone to come forward in a move to mitigate the blood crisis.
Due to the closure of blood donation camps during the elections, there was an extreme crisis. Then, as soon as the issue came to the fore, various organizations and organizations of the state are taking the initiative to organize blood donation camps every day.
Wednesday was no exception as on this day on the initiative of the Tripura Fair Price Shop Directors Association Sadar AMC committee, a voluntary blood donation camp was held at the association’s office on Hariganga Basak Road in the capital.
Mayor of AMC Dipak Majumder has inaugurated by lighting the lamp in the camp.
Speaking at the inauguration of the camp, Majumder said that blood donation camps are less frequent during elections and during Durga Puja. Normally, there is a blood crisis in the blood banks at that time. The only blood donation camp that balances the demand and supply of blood. Donating blood is a great gift. Donating blood means donating life. There is no substitute for blood donation. Human religion is observed through blood donation. Mayor visited the blood donation camp and encouraged the blood donors.
