Agartala, June 7, 2023: Union minister of state Pratima Bhoumik set an example of humanity on Wednesday. On the way to join the party program in Sonamura, she met with the injured people who were involved in a road accident to Melaghar Hospital.
Pratima spent the day in Sonamura with several party programs today. On the way to that program, she saw a collision between a passenger bus and an auto-rickshaw in Poang Bari area near Melaghar. A total of 4 passengers in the auto-rickshaw were injured. The injured were moaning in pain after the accident.
Seeing that, Pratima stopped his convoy and got down on the road. She rushed them to Melaghar hospital in her own car. People of the area are applauding this humanitarian action of Pratima.
Many say that despite being a Union minister, Pratima that rose from the village is still close to the ground. This incident is an example of that.
