PM Modi hits out at DMK in TN, says ‘they don’t do work, but ready to take false credit’

Date:

In a scathing attack on DMK government in Tamil Nadu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said “the DMK does not do any work, but are ready to take the false credit.”

“Who doesn’t know that these people (DMK) put their stickers on our (Centre) schemes?” said Modi while addressing a public meeting at Tirunelveli this afternoon.

The PM said, now they have crossed the limit. They have pasted stickers of China to take credit for the ISRO launch pad in Tamil Nadu. They are not ready to see the progress of India’s space technology and with the taxes that you pay, they have given advertisements and do not even include a picture of India’s space in it.

They did not want to share our country’s space success in front of the World. They insulted our scientists, our space sector, your tax money. Now the time has come to punish the DMK, he said.

Modi also accused the DMK government of not cooperating with the Centre and its schemes.

He said parties like DMK were working only for their families. If you ask them what you can do for development, they will not have an answer. But, if you ask them who the next President of the party (DMK) will be, they will have an answer.

“A party that works for the family, won’t work for the country. I am confident that Tamil Nadu will vote out a party that works only for its own family. DMK is only interested in divisive politics,” the Prime Minister said.

The DMK and Congress are hell-bent on dividing the nation, whereas the BJP considers every person as a family member.

Modi said India celebrated the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. A few days ago, when a resolution was passed in the Parliament regarding the same, all the members of DMK left the house. This behaviour shows how much the DMK leaders despise the people’s faith.
