Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, Sunita Kejriwal, to attend the INDIA bloc’s grand rally here at Ramlila Maidan on Sunday and Sunita will also deliver a message from the Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener, who is under the custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the alleged excise liquor policy case.
The mega-named Loktantra Bachao, or Save Democracy rally, is being organised by opposition leaders against the arrest of the AAP chief by ED.
Speaking about the rally, AAP’s national spokesperson, Priyanka Kakkar, said, “Sunita Kejriwal will attend the INDIA Alliance rally and also deliver a message from Arvind Kejriwal.”
Aam Aadmi Party workers have already gathered at Ramlila Maidan to protest against the CM’s arrest.
The prominent leaders from various parties, including Congress, NCP, Shiv Sena (UBT), Samajwadi Party, RJD, DMK, National Conference, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, and the Aam Aadmi Party, are expected to participate in the rally.
