Agartala: August 28. Bharatiya Janata Party state president JP Nadda has arrived in the state on a two-day visit to set a slew of decisions and to make blueprint for the upcoming Assembly 2023 elections.
He arrived in the state and held an organizational meeting with ministers and legislators at the State Guest House on Sunday afternoon. Before the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, former Chief Minister Biplap Kumar Deb, Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik, State BJP President Rajib Bhattacharya and other Ministers MLAs felicitated the State President JP Nadda by garlanding them.
Then the meeting of JP Nadda with the party leaders has started from the Ministers, MLAs and went on for a long time. Later a meeting was held with Janajati MLAs and MDCs. After the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the public meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Khumulwng on Monday has been called for the participation of the people of the Janajati section.
The chief minister said that there is no news of any opposition political party joining the rally. And this public meeting is very significant for the people of Janajati section. So the people of Janajati section are being told to definitely participate in this rally. The Chief Minister further clarified that since it is a meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party, it does not feel necessary to invite the partner party IPFT.
