Tripura Senior Citizens and Pensioners’ Sangh observed foundation day

Agartala, September 04, 2022: Tripura Senior Citizens and Pensioners’ Sangh observed its foundation day at Kamini Kumar Singha Memorial HS School here on Sunday. Hoisting the Sangh’s flag, the day was observed with hailing slogans and speeches delivered by the office bearers of TSCPS.

Speaking to the reporters here, Sangh’s president Ranajit Dey said “This Sangh was incepted in 2017. From this year onward, we will observe its foundation day every year. The Sangh has overcome many obstacles from childhood to reach its adulthood. There are 8 district committee and 23 sub-divisional committees across the state. Our organization is also a part of the national level organization along with Bharatiya Majdoor Sangh. Three members of the TSCPS have become the members of the Akhil Bharatiya Borishtha Nagarik Parisangh and I have been appointed as its vice-president.”

“Amongst us, who are skilled organizers will be selected from throughout the state and felicitate them from this year itself. West Tripura district secretary Satyajit Naha and his family is handing over cash amount and various materials. And in the coming years, we will continue to organize this initiative and handover these things to the worthy individuals”, he added.
