Agartala, 1st November 2024: The death anniversary of the late former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was observed with due dignity at the Pradesh Congress Bhavan. Following the ceremony, Congress leaders visited Gandhighat here to pay their respects at Indira Gandhi’s tomb.
Pradesh Congress President Asish Kumar Saha, MLA Sudip Roy Barman, MLA Gopal Chandra Roy and other leaders attended the event. “Indira Gandhi was Priyadarshini. She remains in the heart of every countryman,” stated Saha, reflecting on her enduring legacy.
