23 terrorists killed in separate operations in SW Pakistan

Twenty-three terrorists have been killed in separate operations in Pakistan’s southwest Balochistan province, the military said on Saturday.

The security forces conducted multiple operations in Balochistan after terrorists launched an attack by blocking roads in Kalat district of the province, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani military, said in a statement.

Security forces thwarted the attempt and killed 12 terrorists during the operation, said the ISPR statement.

In a separate operation, 11 terrorists were killed in Harnai district of Balochistan after security forces engaged the terrorists’ location, the ISPR said, adding that multiple hideouts were also destroyed during the operation.
