The double-engine government of the BJP has truly given people their rights instead of darkness, given development and not destruction, trust instead of dispute, good governance rather than poor governance, and given facilities instead of problems. It is now a new era of development.
Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi Ji has ensured that every section of society benefits from the slew of developmental initiatives. Tripura had decided to oust the leftists and make way for peace, progress, and prosperity. It remains a breakthrough in good governance for Tripura and its people.
Hon’ble CM Dr. Manik Saha took up the motto of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas. He has been at the forefront of ensuring that the people across districts grow through the government’s welfare schemes. He has been an impetus to the cause of development.
Hon’ble Deputy CM Jishnu Devvarma Ji has contributed the best efforts towards Tripura’s growth journey. He revolutionized rural development, finance, power, etc., departments with several measures toward holistic growth for the better. He also ensured thorough grassroot connections.
Looking back, we see Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA) implementing New and Renewable Energy Projects in Tripura. Today, TREDA is dedicated to promoting new and renewable energy resources under the state government’s visionary initiative for progress.
Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) has helped provide every citizen with adequate safe water for drinking, cooking & other basic domestic needs on a sustainable basis – with minimum water quality standards – readily and conveniently accessible at all times and in all situations across Tripura.
The education sector has also brought major changes – Developing schools as participative learning organizations to improve the quality of education for building a value-based society is now a reality. Quality-centered education to facilitate learning has been the vision in Tripura.
Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (PMAY) has brought in positive changes in Amarpur, Agartala, Melaghar, Belonia, Udaipur, Khowai, Ambassa, Bishalgarh, Sonamura, Santir bazar, Dharamnagar, Kumarghat, Kamlapur, etc. with the beneficiaries now living a very thoroughly improved lifestyle through over 235000 houses in Tripura.
In the past 5 years, the income of farmers in Tripura has increased from Rs 6,800 to Rs 11,000. Tripura CM Manik Saha ji has implemented several important and effective social welfare schemes, thereby taking the state to the third spot among smaller states in implementing social schemes.
The Communists ruled Tripura for 3 decades, full of anarchy, violence, corruption, and lawlessness. But in the past 5 years, the BJP government ended all violence, toll bazi, cadre violence, corruption, and lawlessness in Tripura. I reiterate the statements of Hon’ble Amit Shah Ji in this case.
Tripura Minority Co-Operative Development Corporation Ltd has provided loans to the minority people up to 31-03-2014 (1970 nos Term loan) and (135 nos Education loan) of the total loan amounting to Rs. 1930.39 lakhs. It is a major achievement for the state government and the people.
The BJP government focuses on bringing peace to the state. The BJP government has brought more than 50 social groups to the mainstream by getting them social and financial security. For the rights and privileges of our Tribal communities, we pledge to save our land and people.
Indigenous tribals in Tripura now receive recognition through overall policy, planning, and coordination of programs. The socio-economic development of the most underprivileged sections of Indian society, namely, the SCs and STs, is done in a coordinated and planned manner.
Tribal welfare has also extended boarding house stipend, pre-matric and post-matric scholarships, free textbooks and coaching, infrastructure and economic development, etc. over the last five years of BJP’s regime.
Tripura tourism is being explored. Tripura is a vibrant combination of Natural Beauty, Rich Cultural Heritage, and Architectural Marvels. The state government has also taken up initiatives to promote tourism with a thorough and detailed approach. It brings us pride and is laudable.
₹ 1300 crore package announced by Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Hon’ble Nirmala Sitharaman Ji at Mohanpur brought us another important Externally Aided Project (EAP), aimed at improving the quality of life of tribal communities of Tripura. Infrastructure gap filling in schools development, connecting unconnected 320 habitations with all weather roads, skill up-gradation & input assistance in traditional handloom sector, etc. were taken up for the welfare of tribals.
The Animal Resources Development Department ensures the state’s protection of livestock and birds’ wealth through extensive veterinary health coverage through prevention and control measures. Employment generation for unemployed youths has also been explored for the better.
Ekalavya school in Gandachera, a remote location of the state, also underlines the importance in education sector. Ekalavya schools also focus on sports, cultural activities & extracurricular activities for all round progress of our children in Tripura.
Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Airport and the present infrastructure has been possible only due to the efforts of BJP. The New Terminal Building looks majestic, and is one of a kind. The “May I help you” counters at MBB Airport be an unique endeavour.
Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) has truly helped in the social and economic empowerment of rural and poor women of the State. It helped to create an ecosystem of rural employment, further aiding in Atmanirbhar Tripura and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
12% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for state government employees and pensioners is yet another remarkable step by the BJP-led state government. With this, the state govt. employees’ DA has gone up from 8% to 20%. Meanwhile, around 35000 Self Help Groups (SHGs) in Tripura with the help of Public Distribution System (PDS) remain yet another achievement to be mentioned.
Social pension – Mukhyamantri Samajik Sahayata Prakalpa (MSSP), Honorarium for Pradhan Samajpatis of Indigenous Tribal Community, Mukhyamantri Antodaya Shradhanjali Yojana, etc. – brings in truly laudable responses from the beneficiaries.
Nourishing the young talents of Tripura, young entrepreneurs now receive the right guidance and support from the state government. Tripura IT Start-up scheme is one among the many initiatives that helps promote ideas or innovations of potential entrepreneurs in the state of Tripura.
Aspirational Rural Development Blocks (RDB) identify the blocks that are lacking progress and development; get the aided support from all government departments who were directed to spend at least 8% of their funds for these blocks. This has also helped in Tripura’s development journey.
With over 40,000 jobs to the deserving candidates – devoid of caste, creed, gender, religion, etc. – BJP in Tripura has set a new dawn, thereby strengthening families and empowering them with financial stability.
₹ 1000 one-time-benefit to at least 7 lakh poor and needy families, during COVID-19 pandemic, with the money being credited directly into their bank accounts through Direct Bank Transfer (DBT), has been of great relief during the coronavirus crisis.
Highways, internet, railway, and air connectivity have been developed over the last five years. BJP has delivered on all electoral promises and commitments, extending effective and efficient leadership. BJP has also ensured that every section of our society receives the fruits of progress.
BJP has worked with a goal towards the improvement of the health of its people and equitable access to good quality health care. Hospitals and healthcare facilities have improved. Formulation of health policies, major strategies, and proposed activities in key areas shall remain treasured.
I see that BJP has been working with the motto of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas. The success of the last five years also has an immense public contribution. We are confident and hopeful that the people of Tripura will give BJP another chance, with a higher mandate, to have the continued pace of progress of Tripura.
