Agartala: June 26. The AIKS will hold rally will be held in Delhi on September 14 demanding the government to be sympathetic on the issue of rubber cultivation. The deputation will be given to the President after the assembly. A delegation from the state will participate in this deputation.
The demand will be made to make the price of rubber more than three hundred rupees, said AIKS state secretary Pabitra Kar. Kar said that rubber farmers, fish farmers and vegetable farmers have suffered huge losses due to post poll terrorism in the state. Their crops have been so destroyed that it has become impossible for them to re-establish themselves.
A deputation has been given to the officials of the agriculture department and district administrators in this regard. But the farmers are not getting any kind of cooperation. Therefore, deputation will be provided to the Chief Minister in the coming days, he said. In the press conference, the leader of the organization Ratan Das said that the central government and the state government have failed in all aspects. A movement will be made against this in the coming days.
