Agartala, June 26: On the momentous occasion of its 62nd anniversary, the State Bank of India (SBI) located in Dharmanagar celebrated with a special felicitation program in the bank’s hall. The event brought together pensioners and businessmen from the local community to commemorate the milestone.
Branch Manager Shubhajit Biswas and Bhanupada Chakraborty, the Superintendent of Police for the North district, graced the occasion with their presence. During his speech, Manager Biswas expressed heartfelt gratitude to the bank’s customers for their unwavering support, which has been instrumental in the bank’s continuous growth and progress. He highlighted the remarkable achievements of the State Bank of India, with a business volume of Rs. 516 crore, loans extended worth Rs. 136 crore, and deposits amounting to Rs. 380 crore.
In his address, Superintendent Chakraborty emphasized the importance of customer vigilance in safeguarding against scammers and potential threats related to the installation of third-party applications. He urged bank customers to exercise caution and stay alert to protect their financial interests.
