Agartala, 13th April 2025:   In a significant move to make quality eye care accessible to all, the Ashvini Eye Foundation, in collaboration with Ashvini Netralaya today launched the “Sarva Drishti Yojana”—a new initiative aimed at serving individuals from economically weaker sections, including BPL, PHH, AAY, and Ad-Hoc BPL backgrounds.

“Our mission is simple yet powerful—to ensure that financial hardship does not rob anyone of the gift of vision. With Sarva Drishti Yojana, we aim to bridge the gap in healthcare access and extend our services to those who need them the most,” said an official from Ashvini Eye Foundation.

Under this initiative, beneficiaries will be able to avail OPD services for just Rs 50 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM (closed on Thursdays and Sundays). The scheme includes comprehensive eye check-ups at this nominal fee.

Additionally, patients will receive up to 70% discount on all eye-related diagnostic tests, including cataract screening, retina scans and glaucoma testing. Affordable eye surgeries are also being offered, with packages starting at just Rs 3,000. Beneficiaries under government schemes like PM-JAY and CM-JAY will also be covered.

Ashvini Netralaya, widely recognized for its excellence in ophthalmic services, is leading the implementation of this initiative. “We are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality eye care to every individual, irrespective of their socio-economic background,” said the Director of Health Services (DHS) Prof Dr Tapan Majumder.

For more information or to access services under the Sarva Drishti Yojana, individuals can visit Ashvini Netralaya or contact +91 8729 898002.
