Assam Rifles conducts wreath laying ceremony at Radhanagar Battalion in memory of RFN Kalyan Kumar

Agartala, 6th May 2026:   Assam Rifles organised a solemn wreath laying ceremony at Radhanagar Battalion on 05 May 2026 to honour the supreme sacrifice of Rfn Kalyan Kumar, who attained martyrdom on 05 May 2002 during an operation at Longtom-II village, Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh.

The wreath was laid by the Officiating Commandant, Adjutant and Subedar Major of the Battalion in a dignified ceremony attended by all troops of the Battalion.

The gathering observed two minutes of silence as a mark of respect and remembrance for the brave soldier who laid down his life in the line of duty.

The ceremony reflected the Battalion’s deep respect for its fallen hero and reaffirmed Assam Rifles’ commitment to preserve the legacy of valour, sacrifice and service to the Nation.
