Agartala, 25th November 2025: Assam Rifles organized a ‘Unity Ride Bicycle Expedition’ from Agartala to Srikona today with the aim to promote national unity.
The expedition witnessed enthusiastic participation from both civilians and Assam Rifles personnel, reflecting a shared commitment to a stronger and united nation.
The expedition will cover the picturesque landscape of the region, beginning with the lush plains and green countryside of Agartala and Jirania, moving into the rolling hills, dense forests and bamboo covered slopes of Ambassa and then passing through the serene hilly forested stretch of Bagbasa.
In the last stretch the expedition will enter Assam, into the scenic valley, tea gardens and open green expanses leading towards Srikona.
The flagging-off ceremony was graced by Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy, who wished the team goodluck and applauded their courage to undertake this endeavour to promote national integration.
The three day bicycle expedition will cover about 290 kms and culminate at Srikona spreading the message of unity.
