Assam Rifles organizes medical camp at Shantipur, North Tripura district

Agartala, 21st March 2025:   Assam Rifles conducted a medical camp in Shantipur, Ananda Bazar, North Tripura, on 21 March 2025, reaffirming its commitment to providing essential healthcare services in remote areas. The camp offered free medical consultations, distributed essential medicines, and conducted health awareness sessions.

A total of 228 residents benefitted from the initiative, including 114 women, 30 men, and 84 children. The medical team also carried out evacuation of a 45-year-old woman diagnosed with Congestive Cardiac Failure, post diagnosis ensuring she received advance medical care.

In addition to medical camp, Assam Rifles personnel motivated the local youth on career opportunities in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Indian Army as Agniveers, encouraging them to serve the nation.

The villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the invaluable assistance. Assam Rifles remains dedicated to uplifting communities through public services and other initiatives.
