Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir organizes seven-day NSS Special Camp

Agartala, 21st March 2025:   Like every year, BTVM organised a seven day NSS, Special Camp under the guidance of Swapna Shome, Principal, BTVM. Selected students of class 11 participated in this camp. The first day of the camp was inaugurated by Prabal Kanti Deb, TCS, Deputy Director of Directorate of Youth Affairs and Sports, Tripura State NSS Nodal Officer. Special Guest was Suman Banik, National awardee and NSS Program officer of Madhuban Dukli School. Debashis Chakraborty, Retired IFS, chairman BVB graced the occasion by his presence.

The seven Day Camp consisted of cleanliness drive, awareness program, social activities, excursion trips, visit to brickfield, distribution of care packs to the needful, cultural activities, sports activities, activities on art and creativity etc.

NSS Camp aims to develop a sense of social responsibility and community service among students while fostering their overall personality development. The camp provides a platform for volunteers to engage in various social welfare activities that benefit the community and promote national development.

In the closing ceremony Chief Guest was Dr Sabyasachi Nath, State Forensic Scientist, State Science and laboratory, Narsingarh, Special Guest was Dr. Rajat Dey, Principal BTCTE and Debashis Chakraborty (Retired IFS), Chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra Students were given prizes for the competitions held on the 6 days of the camp. The program officer of the school gave his vote of thanks. The day was fruitful and ended with a happy note.
