Agartala, 24th November 2024: Assam Rifles in a joint operation with Customs department seized 1000 grams of Crystal methamphetamine worth Rs 16 Crore from Badharghat area in Teliamura
In a Press Release Assam Rifles said in a significant success against drug trafficking, Assam Rifles in a Joint Operation with Customs Department successfully seized 1000 gm of Crystal Methamphetamine commonly known as ICE in international market valued at approximately Rs 16 Cr in Badharghat.
“Following a tip-off, Assam Rifles swiftly launched the operation, which culminated in the seizure of the contraband and its subsequent handover to Customs department. This operation highlights the unwavering commitment of Assam Rifles in the fight against drug trafficking and illegal smuggling activities in the region”, said Assam Rifles.
