Agartala, 18th May 2025:  In response to the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgaon, Kashmir, the Indian Army launched ‘Operation Sindoor,’ effectively dismantling nine terrorist camps. The swift military action also thwarted Pakistan’s attempts at retaliation through drone strikes, reinforcing India’s defense preparedness.

To honor the valiant efforts of the armed forces, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in the Banamalipur mandal today. The rally, aimed at expressing gratitude to the soldiers and Prime Minister Narendra Modi began from Chandrapur ISBT in Agartala and wound through various city roads, with participants proudly displaying the national flag.

The event was attended by BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee alongside other party leaders and a large number of supporters.

Addressing the gathering, Bhattacharjee stated, “Our brave soldiers on the border are fearlessly engaged in protecting the country day and night. It is because of their sacrifice and courage that we are safe today. Under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India is becoming more self-reliant and strong.”
