Agartala, 18th September 2026 : A sensation was created in Teliamura after a bloodied body of a man was recovered from a roadside on the eve of Vishwakarma Puja on Thursday night.
he incident took place on the Golabari–Maiganga road near Maiganga Chowmuhani under the Krishnapur Assembly constituency.
According to local residents and sources from the fire and emergency services, the deceased has been identified as Pranoy De a resident of the Joynagar area under Teliamura Police Station. He is reportedly the son of retired teacher Pradip Kumar De.
Locals reportedly noticed a man lying in a bloodied condition on the road and alerted the authorities. Following the information, personnel from the Teliamura Fire and Emergency Services reached the spot and rescued the injured-looking man.
He was immediately taken to Teliamura Hospital for medical attention. However, the attending doctor declared him brought dead.
The incident has triggered concern among local residents. Further details regarding the circumstances leading to his death were not immediately available.
