CBC Agartala hosts Swachhata Campaign at Sukhamoy Higher Secondary School

Agartala, 25th October 2025:   The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Field Office Agartala, conducted a Special Campaign on Swachhata at Sukhamoy Higher Secondary School, Usha Bazar, West Tripura, on 25th October 2025. The initiative aimed to foster public participation in cleanliness and hygiene practices, with a strong emphasis on community-driven waste management, sanitation efforts, and awareness-building activities.

H.K. Chang, Officer-in-Charge, CBC Agartala addressed the gathering and underscored the importance of Swachhata as a collective responsibility. He encouraged students and teachers to actively contribute to creating a cleaner and healthier environment through sustained efforts.

The campaign featured a series of engaging activities, including a cleanliness drive within the school premises, and a quiz competition on hygiene and sanitation.

A drawing and painting competition held in two categories: Group 1: Classes 6 to 9; and Group 2: Classes 10 to 12.

Winners from each competition were felicitated with prizes in recognition of their creativity and awareness.

The event was graced by Asish Malkar, Assistant Headmaster; Banamali Das, Teacher; Pallavi Dey, Teacher; and Mithi Chakraborty, Teacher.

Approximately 60 participants, including students and faculty members, actively took part in the campaign, reinforcing the message of Swachh Bharat through spirited engagement and collaboration.
