Agartala, 25th June 2025:  A high-level review meeting was convened at the Kailashahar Circuit House on Wednesday to assess the progress of flagship initiatives spearheaded by the Central Government. The session was presided over by Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Nikhil Khadse and brought together key stakeholders from across Tripura.

The discussion centered on the ongoing implementation of national missions including Swachh Bharat Mission, Ayushman Bharat, Digital India, Ujjwala Yojana, Start-up India and Skill India. These schemes, pivotal to India’s development agenda were evaluated for both state-wide and district-level progress.

Speaking at the meeting, MoS Khadse emphasized the critical need for synergy between central and state mechanisms. “The only way to implement flagship projects is through coordinated efforts of the state and the center. The administration should give utmost importance to ensuring that the common people get the benefits of these projects at the local level,” she stated.

The session was attended by Social Welfare and Social Education minister Tinku Roy, District Magistrate of Unakoti district Tamal Majumdar along with senior administrative officials and departmental representatives.

Officials expressed confidence that the consultative meeting would infuse fresh momentum into project implementation. Observers noted that such collaborative reviews play a vital role in identifying roadblocks and accelerating citizen-centric outcomes.
